Which exchange company is better for exchanging a timeshare week? What’s the difference between II and RCI? Can I be a member of both RCI and II? I’ve looked at their websites and it’s confusing.

First, you’ll need to find out if your timeshare is affiliated with RCI or with Interval International. Some ownerships are dual affiliates, which means owners can exchange with either system- but most resorts exchange with either one or the other.
RCI affiliates include the Disney Vacation Club, Wyndham Vacation Club, Hilton Grand Vacations Club, and Bluegreen Vacations Club among others..
Examples of Interval International affiliates include Hyatt Vacation Ownership, Westgate Resorts, Marriott Vacation Club, and the Royal Resorts.
You should also look at an independent exchange company such as SFX Resorts. While the larger companies can give you more choices, many owners find that the smaller exchange systems provide a more intimate level of customer service.

I have both memberships and they have positive and negatives. RCI seems to have more resorts. II allows a request first option. Both can be frustrating at times, but if you make your requests early you should be ok with either.
