I just attended a timeshare presentation this weekend and bought it. I really like the timeshare resort I bought into, and I can see my family going there in the future for our vacations. The price was quite high though, and I’ve been told by friends to cancel. What should I do?

Most state laws require a cancellation period for timeshare sales. You should be able to find this rescission period in the purchase contract you signed. If you still have time, follow the instructions and rescind now!
A timeshare can be a great value to your family, but you should never buy on impulse! Take the time to research the ownership to be sure it fits your needs and lifestyle. Also, find out if resale ownerships are available. You may find you can save thousands of dollars by buying from an owner instead of the developer.
